Responsibilities:
Support the development of the specific project and cut over approach for production sites
Define deliverables, nominate responsible persons, and develop the detailed project schedule for each project phase
Align the project planning with Pharma client’s global IT organization, the GMS (Global Manufacturing Systems) organization, and MES Software vendors
Manage the project schedule and the timely completion of the project outcome
Coordinate the infrastructure set up together with the global Pharma client’s MES operations team
Coordinate the definition of new the MES / Lean interfaces and coordinate the development testing and validation of the same
Managing and tracking project risk based on the initial assessment
Maintain and adjust the developed communication plan
Drive the development of the testing and IT validation approach in alignment with the Pharma client’s validation manager
Prepare regular project reporting according to Pharma client’s methodology
Coordinate the various stakeholders (e.g. QA, Supply Chain, Engineering, software vendor)
Preparing Steering Committee meetings
Support and facilitate the preparation and execution of Workshops and Meetings
Preparing the stabilization phase support after the phased cut over
Identify areas to improve Program and Project Management practices, taken ownership of improvement actions.
Develop and maintain delivery plans and feed into Program delivery and resource planning
Report produce regular status reports and attend regular global team meetings (via conference call and at times, in person) to represent local project status
Deliver projects on time and on budget
Capabilities and Behaviors:
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and will be capable of influencing throughout all levels within a multi-location organization. The ability to think strategically and act tactically is essential in this role. Attention to detail and a working knowledge of Microsoft Project are required. The ability to drive the execution of a multi-national program in several locations, keeping within the cost and schedule of the program is a key skill for the candidate.
Ability to think broadly and facilitate cross-functional business process design and documentation
Ability to delivery without directly line control of internal and external matrixed resources
Fluent in MS Office, specifically MS Project.
Fluent in best practice Program and Project Management, evidenced by formal qualifications and solid experience of initiating, managing and recovering programs and projects.
