Metal Fabricator/Welder

ABT Steel Contracting LLC is seeking a skilled and experienced Metal Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in fabricating metal parts, specifically in stainless steel and mild steel, and will be responsible for producing high-quality components in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Fabrication: Cut, shape, and assemble metal components made from stainless steel and mild steel, following technical drawings, blueprints, or written instructions.

- Welding: Perform various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and arc welding, to join and fabricate metal parts.

- Operation of Tools & Equipment: Safely operate metal fabrication equipment such as grinders, presses, shears, saws, and CNC machines.

- Quality Control: Inspect completed workpieces for quality and precision, ensuring adherence to specifications and standards.

- Measurement & Layout: Use measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures) to accurately cut and assemble parts.

- Maintenance: Maintain tools, equipment, and workspace, ensuring a safe and clean work environment.

- Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, supervisors, and other team members to ensure seamless production processes and timely project delivery.

- Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to fabrication processes and equipment.

Requirements:

- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in metal fabrication, with a focus on stainless steel and mild steel.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and fabrication instructions.

- Welding Skills: Proficient in MIG, TIG, and arc welding.

- Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with fabrication tools and machinery, including CNC machines, grinders, presses, and saws.

- Attention to Detail: Strong eye for detail and ability to ensure high-quality workmanship.

- Physical Fitness: Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.

- Safety Consciousness: Knowledge of safety standards and practices in a metal fabrication environment.

Pay: AED1,400.00 - AED1,900.00 per month
