Mgr Radiology

Overview:
Manage the day to day clinical operations of various modalities. Ensure staff competence and compliance with regulatory requirements. Provide effective leadership and manage the activities and programs of the designated Radiology Department(s). Work closely with the University of Florida Physicians, Nurses, Technologists, Physicians Extenders, and Clinical Staff.

Qualifications:Required Education::
Bachelors degree

Preferred Education::
Bachelors degree in Healthcare related field or business

Necessary Skills::
1. Good communication
2. Independent thinking
3. If RN knowledge of procedural nursing
4. Budget/Finance Skills
5. Proficient in computer skills
6. Outstanding verbal and oral communication skills

Required Licensure/ Certifications::
Current BLS from the American Heart Association

Current Florida licensure in one of the following:
Registered nurse
Radiologic technologist
Advanced practice registered nurse
Physician assistant

Preferred Licensure/ Certifications::
N/A

Required Experience::
Over 5 years Radiology experience and/or supervisory experience

Preferred Experience::
5 years experience in IR
