Summary :

Manages the daily operations of the Medical Group Practice. The manager provides leadership of daily operations of the unit, ensuring that policies, procedures, finances, operations, and practices are consistent with the organizational goals and strategic initiatives. Is responsible for personnel management, assuring adequate access is available for patients, performance improvement, quality patient care, and assuring the department meets regulatory requirements. In collaboration with the physician dyad leader, works on growth and strategic initiatives to improve care, access, and services offered. The selected manager must be able to work collaboratively with others, lead business operations, and have familiarity with medical coding, billing practices, public relations, HR rules, and customer service. Strong business acumen and exceptional communication skills are required.

Responsibilities:

Plans, allocates, and assigns duties and programs to the administrative and clinical staff. Monitors activities and operations to ensure that practice successfully meet objectives. Standardizes procedures and initiates changes when necessary. Constantly reviews administrative and operational procedures to strive for more efficient ways to conduct business and improve patient relations and experience. Responsible for the development, adherence and implementation of the departmental capital and operating budgets, including assisting with coding and billing audits. Responsible for compliance with applicable Joint Commission. State, and other regulations. Responsible for the oversight of training and ongoing education of staff. Is responsible for the development, implementation, revision, and reporting of Performance Improvement activities. Assists and provides support to front line staff, including coverage as needed.
