Position Title: Microbiologist
Location: Jamshoro, Sindh

As a Microbiologist, you will be responsible to ensure testing of food grade products to meet the needs of internal and external customers for data and information on process and product quality. It also performs environmental monitoring pathogen-free program. A successful applicant will be responsible for working safely and efficiently as possible in our continuous operational facility. Special Analysis on customer demand and participation in proficiency testing programs.
This role reports to Lead Microbiologist.
What you will do:
- Laboratory Testing and Calibration – Operates and maintains a safe, accident-free laboratory environment. Maintain and operate specified laboratory instruments/equipment and microbiological analysis completion. Perform the testing to comply the corporate, customer and regulatory requirements. Perform the internal calibration of equipment as per plan.

Environmental Monitoring – Responsible for the execution and reassessment of the company Environmental Monitoring (EM) program.

SAP – Accurately complete data entry into SAP; communicate concerns and nonconformance to Lead Microbiologist.

Audits – Complete internal and Customer audits of the Food Safety and Quality programs for the assigned site operation center. Assisting audits for compliance to quality, accreditation, IMS systems as per customer, quality, and regulatory systems.

Documentation, Data Analysis and Record Activities – Maintain and calibrate records and standards traceable to NIST and another appropriate standard where applicable. Write revise and update Standard Operating Procedures.

IMS Compliance Activities – Maintain accurate laboratory records for compliance with retention and data recording procedures in accordance with accreditation, ISO, IMS and regulations.

Training and Development Activities – Support performance management activities and site development efforts to enhance the talent capability and provide ongoing personal development of staff.
What you will bring:
- B.S (Hons), MS Hons. Microbiology or Food Sciences

Proficiency in English

1-2 Years QA/QC Microbial Laboratory

Food, Pharma, Chemical: Quality Control /Quality Assurance
Who you are:
- Key Skills (Microbial analysis, Instrument calibration, physical assessments & monitoring)

Computer and Project Skills with applying level (i.e SAP, Office, Six Sigma)

Working knowledge of microbiology and instrumentation and good understanding of general troubleshooting strategies.

Working knowledge of ISO 17025:2017
