Job Title: Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator to manage and maintain our cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying, monitoring, and securing Azure resources, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Azure Infrastructure Management
- Deploy, configure, and manage Azure virtual machines, networking, and storage solutions.
- Maintain Azure AD (Active Directory), role-based access control (RBAC), and identity management.
- Implement Azure security policies, firewalls, and access controls.
- Ensure compliance with industry best practices and security standards.
Monitoring & Optimization
- Use Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights to track system performance.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, scaling issues, and cost inefficiencies.
- Automate resource provisioning using ARM templates, Terraform, or PowerShell.
- Infrastructure, Network and Application monitoring, repair, and maintenance.
- Client and Server management, Sentinel security knowledge a plus.
Backup & Disaster Recovery
- Configure and manage Azure Backup and Site Recovery (ASR) solutions.
- Evaluate and implement disaster recovery (DR) plans to ensure business continuity.
Networking & Connectivity
- Manage Azure Virtual Networks (VNets), ExpressRoute, VPN Gateways, and Load Balancers.
- Ensure secure hybrid cloud connectivity with on-premises infrastructure.
Day-to-Day Activities
- System Health Check: Review Azure alerts, system logs, and security events.
- User & Identity Management: Grant/revoke access permissions, manage Azure AD users, and troubleshoot login issues.
- Resource Optimization: Monitor Azure spending, right-size VM instances, and optimise cloud costs.
- Security & Compliance Audits: Conduct security scans, apply patches, and implement best practices.
- Incident Management: Troubleshoot downtime, network failures, and performance issues.
- Automation & Scripting: Use PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Terraform to automate routine administrative tasks.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).
- Cloud Expertise: Experience managing Azure computing, storage, and networking.
- Networking: Knowledge of DNS, VPN, Load Balancing, and Virtual Networks (VNets).
- Security: Experience with Azure Security Center, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and compliance policies.
- Automation: Proficiency in PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM templates, or Terraform.
- Backup & Disaster Recovery: Firsthand experience with Azure Backup and ASR.
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in enterprise or multi-cloud environments.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes (AKS), serverless functions, and DevOps tools.
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and incident management best practices.
