1. JOB PURPOSE
To provide strong technical development, optimization, and support for LS Retail (Version 21) and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central applications.
This role is key to improving POS performance, system stability, and integration efficiency, ensuring seamless retail operations across all stores. The incumbent will also coordinate with implementation and support partners to resolve technical challenges and deliver continuous improvement.
2. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/KNOWLEDGE
- Education: BE / MCA
- Experience: 4–6 years of relevant experience in LS Retail / LS Central and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / NAV.
- Technical Expertise:
· Proficiency in C/AL and AL programming languages.
· Strong understanding of LS Retail Version 21 architecture, store setups, and replication mechanisms.
· Solid experience with SQL Server, API integration, and system performance tuning.
· Proven ability to troubleshoot POS slowness, synchronization issues, and data latency between stores and the central server.
· Experience in API integration with SAP, loyalty platforms, and external aggregators. (e.g., Noon, Talabat, Deliveroo, Loyalty Systems).
· Strong understanding of supermarket and grocery retail operations, including POS workflows, promotions, tenders, and inventory management.
· Hands-on exposure to real-time retail environments and support during store operations.
· Working knowledge of data integrity, barcode management, and store transaction processing.
3. COMMUNICATION AND WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
- Head of IT: Reports directly to the Head of IT for all development and performance initiatives.
- Business and Store Teams: Works closely with operations to understand retail pain points and deliver high-performance solutions.
- Support Partners: Coordinates with partners for ongoing support and enhancement for version- level escalations.
- Vendors: Liaises with POS hardware and infrastructure vendors to resolve system bottlenecks and improve processing speed.
4. KEY DIMENSIONS AND RELATED JOB RESULTS
- Develop, customize, and optimize LS Retail / Business Central solutions aligned with business processes.
- Conduct performance diagnostics and implement solutions to address POS slowness and data replication issues.
- Ensure pricing accuracy across stores by improving SAP–LS Retail linkages and removing Excel- based dependencies.
- Troubleshoot and fix promotion management, inter-store pricing, and loyalty discount issues.
- Resolve barcode-related errors, ensure master data integrity, and strengthen data validation processes.
- Enhance and stabilize API integrations with third-party aggregators (Noon, Talabat, Deliveroo, etc.).
- Support Customer Credit Account functionality and ensure synchronization with Finance.
- Work closely with Infrastructure to optimize server configuration, bandwidth utilization, and system uptime.
- Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation for all configurations, integrations, and issue resolutions.
- Provide inputs to the LS Retail system audit and implement corrective measures for full deployment sign-off.
- Support new store openings, self-checkout systems, and E-commerce integrations.
- Contribute to replenishment planning, EOD automation, and transaction accuracy.
- Coordinate with vendors for patch deployments, version upgrades, and performance enhancements.
- Ensure the system is ready for Loyalty Pricing Launch and future country rollouts (Bahrain, Qatar).
5. OPERATING ENVIRONMENT
- May require occasional travel to stores and data centers for issue diagnosis and testing.
- Flexible working hours, including weekends or holidays, may be needed during deployments or issue resolution.
- Must be able to handle high-pressure environments with operational urgency.

Pay: ₹545,614.97 - ₹1,903,397.46 per year
