Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Administer, maintain, and support Microsoft SQL Server databases to ensure high availability and performance.
• Install, configure, and upgrade SQL Server instances and manage service packs and patches.
• Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement recommended solutions.
• Design and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies to safeguard critical data.
• Manage user permissions and access control, enforcing security practices to protect data integrity.
• Conduct performance tuning, query optimization, and capacity planning for SQL Server environments.
• Work collaboratively with development teams to support application deployments and optimize database access.
• Document database configurations, processes, and architectural designs for knowledge sharing.
• Stay up-to-date with SQL Server technologies, industry trends, and best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience as an MSSQL Database Administrator.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server architecture, management tools, and utilities.
• Experience with performance tuning, backup and recovery techniques, and security management.
• Proficiency in T-SQL and query optimization for effective data access.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Microsoft SQL Server certification is a plus.
