MicroStrategy & Business Intelligence Engineer

This position requires expertise in Business Intelligence and DataOps technologies with a successful track record of managing and building BI applications, starting from conceptualization to implementation. Should be able to deliver high-quality BI solutions. Should have worked on extracting data from a variety of data sources, analyze and present them concisely using different data visualization and report development tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

The job holder needs to be Subject Matter Expert in BI technologies such as MicroStrategy, PowerBI… A hands-on experience in Bigdata and database management is required.

Qualifications, experience, skills and competencies

• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT industry
• Minimum 7 years of experience in BI Development and Admin area
• Minimum 3 years of experience MSTR, BI tools
• Proven experience in designing and implementing projects

Bid data Administrator’s and NIFI Developer Responsibilities include the following tasks:

1. Design solutions that align with the firm’s data management principles, policies, standards and best practices

2. Translate requirements and generate and develop a roadmap utilizing the best technologies for the project with comprehensive and obtainable milestones

3. Develop and deploy dashboards, visualizations and autonomous and dynamic reporting interfaces to be distributed to stakeholders via the BI reporting platform, web portal, mobile, tablet devices, widgets and email

4. Optimize report distribution, execution and the scalability of all reporting solutions so they are autonomous and dynamic

5. Work with the Data Management team to provide input on logical and physical database design, data modeling and/or mapping

6. Generate large and complex data extracts and queries for the Analytical Leads for data analysis by utilizing various database schema such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and Netezza

7. Work with various Team Members, internal departments and third-party agencies on report business requirements, documentation, timelines, testing, and technical delivery

8. Excellent experience at Senior MicroStrategy Expert Consulting

9. Exceptional knowledge of multiple-client support on same underlying architecture

10. Profound knowledge of MicroStrategy 7i 8x including Administrator and Desktop

11. Superior understanding of Intelligence Server configuration settings
