Mid-Level MERN Stack Developer (React + Node.js)

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js/NextJs, and Node.js.
• Build responsive, high-quality UI components in React with reusable architecture.
• Integrate APIs, optimize backend performance, and ensure smooth communication between front-end and back-end.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
• Work closely with designers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience with the MERN stack.
• Strong expertise in React.js, hooks, state management (Redux/Zustand/Context).
• Solid understanding of Node.js, Express.js, and API development.
• Experience with MongoDB (queries, aggregation, schemas).
• Good understanding of REST APIs and modern web architecture.
• Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with Next.js
• Knowledge of TypeScript
• Familiarity with AWS, Docker, or microservices
• Experience with UI libraries like Material UI, Ant Design, Tailwind CSS
• Understanding of performance optimization and security best practices
