Mid Level-Software Engineer

To design, build, and maintain Visio Lending’s software systems and web applications by leveraging modern frameworks, cloud platforms, and integration tools. This role enables business growth by developing scalable solutions, ensuring reliable system performance, and supporting application lifecycle management from design through deployment.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using frameworks such as Django.
• Build and integrate solutions that leverage cloud platforms including AWS and Azure.
• Support integrations with Salesforce and other enterprise platforms.
• Ensure adherence to the software development lifecycle (SDLC) through design, coding, testing, and deployment best practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and product owners to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Implement and maintain source control practices (e.g., branching, pull requests, code reviews) using GitHub.
• Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes to ensure availability and scalability.
• Write unit, integration, and automated tests to maintain software quality.
• Partner with QA, DevOps, and IT teams to ensure seamless deployments and operational reliability.
• Contribute to technical documentation for systems, processes, and coding standards.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and agile ceremonies.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve application performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Other responsibilities and duties as assigned based on business needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to use standard office equipment; printer, scanner, copier, fax, telephone, and other applicable equipment as needed
• 2–4 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Experience with Django or comparable web frameworks.
• Familiarity with AWS and/or Azure for application hosting and services.
• Experience working with source control systems such as GitHub.
• Understanding of SDLC practices, testing, and CI/CD workflows.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience integrating applications with Salesforce or similar enterprise platforms.
• Exposure to containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of security best practices for application development.
• Experience in financial services, lending, or regulated industries.

Pay: Rs170,000.00 - Rs220,000.00 per month
