Mid-Level WordPress Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mid-Level WordPress Developer with strong expertise in PHP, React.js, and modern WordPress development. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in Gutenberg block development, WooCommerce customization (including payment gateway development), LearnDash integrations, REST API development, and modern build tools. The developer must follow WordPress Coding Standards and build scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, customize, and maintain custom WordPress plugins and themes.

- Build custom Gutenberg blocks using React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+).

- Develop and customize WooCommerce features, including payment gateways and checkout functionality.

- Develop and customize LearnDash plugins, add-ons, and integrations.

- Create custom WordPress REST API endpoints and integrate third-party APIs.

- Use WordPress hooks (actions and filters) to extend core functionality.

- Follow WordPress Coding Standards and best practices.

- Optimize WordPress websites for performance, scalability, and security.

- Use modern build tools such as Webpack, Vite, and npm for asset bundling.

- Work with Git for version control, branching, and collaboration.

- Develop scalable and maintainable frontend components using React.js.

- Ensure compatibility with multisite environments.

- Deploy and manage WordPress applications in cloud hosting environments.

- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues efficiently.

- Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- 2–5 years of professional WordPress development experience

- Strong proficiency in PHP and WordPress core architecture

- Strong experience with React.js and Gutenberg block development

- Strong experience with WooCommerce customization

- Experience building custom WooCommerce payment gateways

- Strong experience with LearnDash LMS development and customization

- Experience developing custom WordPress plugins

- Strong understanding of WordPress hooks, filters, and core APIs

- Experience working with WordPress REST API and creating custom endpoints

- Experience with modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3

- Experience using modern build tools such as Webpack, Vite, and npm

- Experience using Git (GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket)

- Experience optimizing WordPress performance

- Experience working with WordPress multisite environments

- Experience with cloud hosting and deployment workflows

- Strong understanding of WordPress Coding Standards

- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
