Web Developer (Remote)

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Web Developer to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing websites and web applications while working closely with designers, marketers, and project managers. This role requires availability during EST evening hours and strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize responsive websites and web applications
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Collaborate with designers to implement UI/UX designs accurately
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve website issues
• Ensure website performance, security, and scalability
• Integrate APIs, plugins, and third-party tools as required
• Perform regular updates, backups, and maintenance
• Meet deadlines and communicate progress effectively with the team

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Web Developer
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience with frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Vue, or similar) is a plus
• Familiarity with backend technologies (PHP, Node.js, or similar) is preferred
• Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress is a plus
• Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Basic knowledge of SEO and website optimization
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with e-commerce websites
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git)
• Familiarity with hosting environments and deployment processes
