Overview
    As a Inclusion teacher you'll work with children and young people who need extra support, or require an advanced programme of learning, in order to reach their full educational potential. Inclusion needs teachers work with children who need additional support. This includes children with physical disabilities, learning, emotional, behavioural or communication difficulties, conditions such as autism, dyspraxia, dyslexia and ADHD, sensory impairments (for example, visual impairment), sensory processing disorder, and mental health issues.
Responsibilities

      contact and teaching time with students on an individual, class or small group basis, within, or outside, the class (push-in and pull-out sessions)
      prepare lessons and resources
      mark and assess work
      develop and adapt conventional teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students
      use special equipment and facilities, such as audio-visual materials and computers to stimulate interest in learning
      utilise specialist skills for breaching gaps in learning and understanding
      collaborate with the classroom teacher to define appropriate activities for the students in relation to the curriculum
      assess children who have long or short-term learning difficulties and work with colleagues to identify individual students' special needs
      work closely with parents and guardians
      organise learning outside the classroom in activities such as community visits, school outings or sporting events
      identify learning needs and arrange the correct support
      create student centred plans for individual behaviour management (IBP)
      create student centred plans for individual learning management (ILP)
      assist in students' personal care if needed
      carry out administrative tasks, including updating and maintaining records of students' progress
      attend all reviews or other related meetings, regarding students with a SEN, which may involve reviewing education, health, care and Individual Learning plans
      attend in-service training
      demonstrate strong behaviour management
      developing programmes of learning activities
      planning, preparing and researching lessons
      preparing and adapting teaching materials
      checking and assessing students' work and giving feedback
      liaising with parents, external agencies and a range of other professionals, such as speech and language therapists, physiotherapists and educational psychologists
      writing detailed reports
      coordinating the work of support staff
      other tasks assigned by School Principal

Skills Description
    • University/Bachelor Degree /Master Degree in Education, Teaching, Psychology, Sociology or other relevant fields.
    • Licensed/registered teacher is desirable.
    • Experience in CBSE Curriculum is an advantage.
    • Experience in similar type of work in international schools or other educational
    institutions.
    • Clean criminal record check.
