MIG Welder

We are currently hiring an experienced Welder to support production in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment. This role involves operating semi-automated welding equipment while performing hands-on weld repairs, inspections, and quality checks. The ideal candidate takes pride in producing clean, accurate welds and maintaining high production and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings
• Set up and operate semi-automatic welding equipment
• Perform MIG welding on mild steel components in various positions
• Inspect completed welds and perform leak testing and quality checks
• Repair weld defects and complete touch-up welding by hand as needed
• Conduct penetration and dye testing to verify weld integrity
• Maintain production efficiency while meeting quality standards
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety procedures

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of welding experience preferred
• Strong MIG welding experience on mild steel required
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols
• Experience with weld inspection and quality control procedures
• Comfortable working in a production-focused environment
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Weld Test

• MIG welding on mild steel plate in the 1G (flat) position

Schedule & Pay

• Full-time position
• Overtime opportunities may be available
• Competitive pay based on experience and skill level

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
