Apogee Solutions, a woman-owned small business, is seeking a Military Analyst / Graphic Designer in Fort Rucker, AL to support the US Army Aviation Center of Excellence (AVCOE), which is responsible for overall direction, guidance and execution of Aviation Branch functions related to Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership and Education, Personnel, Facilities and Policy (DOTMLPF-P) development, integration and synchronization. AVCOE maintains a total Army perspective in managing programs and keeps the Army leadership fully apprised of program status to include problems, which could affect the Army’s ultimate commitment to aviation programs.

The Military Analyst / Graphic Designer will support synchronization and dissemination of key strategic communication themes and messages to ensure consistent messaging across the Aviation enterprise.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert business, analytical, and technical support to the AVCOE G-5, directly contributing to the achievement of its strategic goals.
  • Deliver support to the five core lines of effort – Aviation Enterprise Synchronization, Strategic Communication Alignment, Future Aviation Capability Input, Strengthened Foreign Liaison Program, and Proactive Strategic Planning Cycle.
  • Assist in developing AVCOE strategic communication plans and coordinate messaging with leadership and stakeholders.
  • Develop presentations that are visually appealing, logically organized, and factually accurate.
  • Generate / create graphics and multimedia elements that enhance the message.
  • Adhere to AVCOE branding guidelines.
  • Ensure presentations are clear, concise, and impactful and that graphics are high-quality and relevant.
  • Ensure no typos or grammatical errors and that the information is presented in a compelling manner.
  • Responsible for ensuring version control and primary drafting author is accurately and clearly displayed on each draft.

Requirements:

  • US Citizen with the ability to pass a background check, to include Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) fingerprint check and National Agency Check with Written Inquires (NACI)
  • Active, adjudicated SECRET Security Clearance documented in the Defense Information System for Security (DISS)
  • Must possess significant experience with PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint and Teams
  • Must demonstrate mastery of graphics and video editing tools that are licensed for use on government networks
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing Adobe products (Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, Captivate, After Effects, Spark, Premiere Pro, Audition, Dreamweaver)
  • Experience developing executive level briefings, speeches and articles relating to Army Aviation operations, training, doctrine, and program management
  • Must be an energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image
  • Must have a portfolio of work
  • No military experience is required for this position but this individual must understand military culture and be able to communicate that through the visual medium
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively within fast-paced, mission-driven settings while maintaining accuracy, discretion, and compliance with applicable policies and regulations
