Mill Operator

• Operate shredders, crushers, grinders, and milling equipment used in metal recycling.
• Monitor equipment performance and adjust settings to ensure optimal production output.
• Inspect incoming scrap materials and ensure proper feeding into the mill.
• Conduct routine equipment checks and report mechanical issues to the maintenance team.
• Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of machinery.
• Ensure processed materials meet quality and size specifications.
• Maintain production logs and complete daily operational reports.
• Follow plant safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times.
• Assist in loading/unloading materials when required.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
