Key Responsibilities:
- Replenish and maintain all guest room minibars according to hotel standards, ensuring accuracy, freshness, and presentation of items.
- Conduct daily checks of minibars to record consumption, replenish stock, and ensure all items are properly priced and displayed.
- Accurately post minibar charges to the guest accounts through the hotel’s system (e.g., Jana) in a timely manner.
- Verify expiry dates, product quality, and cleanliness of minibar items and equipment.
- Maintain an organized and secure minibar storage area, ensuring correct stock rotation and sufficient par levels are maintained at all times.
- Prepare and submit daily consumption and stock reports to the Finance and Purchasing departments.
- Assist in conducting monthly inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
- Coordinate with the Purchasing and Receiving departments regarding replenishment of minibar items.
- Respond promptly to guest requests or inquiries related to the minibar service in a professional and courteous manner.
- Adhere to all hotel policies, hygiene, and safety standards while handling beverages and food items.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Mini Bar Attendant, Room Attendant, or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Basic knowledge of inventory control, food and beverage handling, and accounting procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Familiarity with hotel management systems (e.g., Jana) and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Physically fit and able to handle lifting and moving minibar supplies.
- High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
