Roles and Responsiblities
- Data Management
- Collect, manage, and maintain large sets of data from various departments.
2. Report Generation
- Generate daily, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports for management.
- Prepare performance dashboards and business analysis reports.
3. Database Management
- Maintain and update internal databases (Excel, SQL, ERP systems, etc.).
- Create and manage queries to extract required data.
4. Automation & Process Improvement
- Automate repetitive tasks using tools like Excel macros, VBA, or Power Query.
- Optimize data collection and reporting processes.
5. Technical Support
- Provide support for software and tools used in data reporting and analysis.
- Troubleshoot issues with MIS tools or reports.
6. Coordination with Departments
- Liaise with different departments (sales, finance, HR, operations) to gather data or understand reporting requirements.
- Translate business needs into technical requirements.
7. Documentation
- Document processes, data flows, report templates, and user guides.
- Maintain logs of changes in reports or systems.
8. Compliance and Data Security
- Ensure data handling aligns with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Implement access controls and backup procedures.
9. Business Intelligence Support
- Assist in decision-making by providing insightful data analysis.
- Help build dashboards using BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio (if required).
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security.
