Mixologist

Job Summary
Unspeakable is an Asian inspired speakeasy seeking for an energetic and talented Mixologist to elevate our guests' experience through expert cocktail craftsmanship and exceptional customer service. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will create innovative and classic drinks while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
• Engage with guests to understand their preferences, recommend drinks, and provide personalized service that exceeds expectations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies, garnishes, glassware, and ingredients to ensure smooth operations.
• Manage POS systems such as Toast accurately for order processing, cash handling, and sales recording.
• Follow all food safety protocols and responsible alcohol service guidelines to ensure guest safety and compliance with health regulations.
• Collaborate with the culinary team during events like banquets or catering functions to deliver seamless service in fine dining or nightclub settings.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in retail math calculations for sales and tips.

Skills

• Proven experience as a Mixologist or bartender in fast-paced environments such as nightclubs, fine dining establishments, or banquet settings.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Toast for efficient order entry and sales tracking.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously during busy hours.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
• Familiarity with food handling, food safety standards, and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations related to retail math, cash handling, and billing accurately.
• Experience in retail math, catering events, brewing processes or food industry operations is a plus.
• Knowledge of serving techniques in both restaurant and nightclub environments enhances versatility.
