Mixologist

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair.
• Engage with guests to recommend drinks, answer questions about ingredients, and enhance their overall experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling.
• Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; restock as needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in retail math and cash handling procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy nights or special events like banquets or nightclub gatherings.

Experience

• Prior experience working as a Mixologist or bartender in fast-paced environments such as fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings.
• Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during high-volume service periods while maintaining quality standards.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clientele in a welcoming manner.
• Knowledge of food handling, food safety regulations, and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Experience in catering or food industry roles that require multitasking across food service, retail math, and cash handling.
• Familiarity with brewing techniques or beverage creation is a plus for those interested in expanding their mixology expertise.
