Mixologist/Bartender

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Mixologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food and beverage industry, particularly in fine dining settings. As a Mixologist, you will be responsible for crafting unique cocktails, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a memorable experience for our guests. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain an organized and clean bar area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and ready for use.
• Engage with customers to provide recommendations, take orders, and deliver exceptional service that enhances their dining experience.
• Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and ingredients, communicating needs to management as necessary.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems while adhering to cash handling procedures.
• Assist with banquet services as needed, including setting up bars for events and catering functions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and new cocktail recipes to continually enhance the drink menu.

Skills

• Proven experience in the food industry or food service environment, preferably in fine dining establishments.
• Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, and beverage pairings.
• Proficiency in using POS systems for order processing and cash handling.
• Excellent math skills for accurate measurement of ingredients and handling transactions.
• Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and other team members in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
• Strong food handling skills with a focus on safety and sanitation practices.
• Exceptional communication skills with a friendly demeanor to engage effectively with guests.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
