Just Let Us Medical Support Services is currently seeking motivated healthcare professionals to join our growing team. We are looking for both experienced professionals and entry-level candidates who have completed their certification and are eager to grow in the medical field.

This is a PRN / On-Call / Independent Contractor opportunity with immediate start dates available.

We proudly serve clinics, laboratories, rehabilitation centers, and patients in home settings throughout the Carolinas.

Join our dynamic team as a Mobile Medical Professional—comprising Phlebotomists, Medical Assistants, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Health Aides—delivering vital healthcare services directly to patients in various outpatient, inpatient, and community settings. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide compassionate, high-quality care across diverse medical environments, including clinics, hospitals, urgent care centers, and specialized units such as geriatrics, internal medicine, and emergency medicine. As a key member of our mobile healthcare team, you will be instrumental in enhancing patient experiences by bringing essential medical services directly to their locations.

Duties

  • Perform patient intake procedures including collecting medical histories and documenting vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.
  • Collect blood samples via venipuncture or capillary puncture for laboratory testing while maintaining strict adherence to safety and quality protocols.
  • Assist with medication administration under supervision or according to scope of practice, ensuring proper documentation and patient safety.
  • Support physicians and nurses with clinical tasks such as X-ray imaging, basic wound care, and specimen handling in outpatient or inpatient settings.
  • Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to accurately document patient information, procedures performed, and clinical observations.
  • Conduct patient education on health topics related to dermatology, geriatrics, or chronic disease management as needed.
  • Support hospital medicine teams by monitoring patient vitals during rounds and assisting with patient mobility and comfort measures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to infection control standards in various healthcare settings.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling follow-up appointments or processing insurance documentation including ICD coding for billing purposes.

Experience

  • Prior experience working in hospital medicine, outpatient clinics, urgent care centers, or emergency departments is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and basic life support (BLS) certification is required.
  • Experience with EHR systems and familiarity with ICD coding enhances efficiency in documentation and billing processes.
  • Hands-on experience performing phlebotomy or venipuncture in a clinical setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of hospital procedures including Level I Trauma Center protocols or Level II trauma experience is advantageous.
  • Background working with diverse populations such as geriatrics or pediatric intensive care units (PICU) will be considered a strong asset.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced environments like urgent care or emergency medicine settings while maintaining excellent patient service standards.
