Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced, reliable Notary Public to join our team and provide online notarizations, mobile notarizations, in-person notarizations, and apostille services. This is a contract-based role with flexible scheduling and consistent volume for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, and already experienced in remote online notarization (RON) and apostille processing.

Responsibilities

• Perform Remote Online Notarizations (RON) in compliance with state laws
• Complete mobile notarizations at client locations as assigned
• Handle in-person notarizations at designated locations
• Process apostille services, including document review, submission, and follow-up
• Verify signer identity and ensure proper documentation
• Maintain accurate records and comply with all notary regulations
• Communicate professionally with clients and internal staff
• Meet turnaround times, especially for apostille requests

Requirements (Must Have)

• Active Notary Public license in good standing
• Active Online Notary / Remote Online Notary (RON) license
• Current notary bond
• Proven experience with remote online notarizations
• Proven experience handling apostille services
• Strong understanding of notary laws and compliance requirements
• Reliable internet, computer, and camera setup for online notarizations
• Professional appearance and customer-focused communication
• Ability to travel locally for mobile notarizations (as needed)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working with a notary service, law firm, or document processing company
• Familiarity with same-day or expedited apostille services
• Ability to handle high-volume notarization requests efficiently

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $100.00 per hour
