$75,000–$90,000 annually, depending on experience

We are a busy, entrepreneurial family of four seeking a modern-day Mary Poppins—a highly capable, nurturing professional who can become an integral part of our family and help manage the domestic side of our lives.

We are Mom and Dad, owners of a thriving snorkeling company in Waikiki, along with our two amazing children: an adventurous 11-year-old boy and a creative, energetic 6-year-old girl. Our ideal candidate is organized, dependable, educated, emotionally intelligent, and genuinely loves helping children thrive.

This is not simply a nanny position. We are looking for a trusted Family Manager who can oversee household operations while providing exceptional care, mentorship, and support to our children.

What You'll Do - Childcare & Enrichment

• Provide loving, attentive care for our children
• Drive children home from school and to various activities
• Support homework, reading, and educational activities
• Encourage creativity, curiosity, independence, and kindness
• Coordinate after-school activities and schedules
• Plan engaging outings, adventures, and learning experiences
• Foster healthy habits and positive family values

Household Management

• Daily tidying and organizing house (alongside bi-monthly cleaners)
• Laundry
• Grocery shopping
• Cleaning kitchen
• Manage household logistics and errands
• Organize children's belongings, clothing, school supplies, and activity gear
• Assist with meal planning and family meal preparation
• Coordinate appointments and household vendors as needed
• Keep family systems organized and running efficiently

Family Support

• Coordinate family calendars and schedules
• Serve as a reliable and trusted partner to busy working parents
• Communicate proactively about schedules, needs, and household priorities
• Create consistency and stability for the children
• Help maintain a warm, positive, and well-functioning home environment

Schedule

The typical schedule is:

Monday–Friday
12:00 PM – 6:00 PM

However, flexibility is essential.

Additional responsibilities may include:

• Occasional evenings
• School holidays and schedule changes
• Overnight care when parents travel, up to 20 nights per year
• Accompanying the family on domestic and international vacations
• Additional support during busy business seasons

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a nanny, governess, family assistant, household manager, educator, or similar role
• Strong references
• Clean driving record
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally
• College education preferred but not required for exceptional candidates

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $75,000–$90,000 annually DOE
