Modern Trade Sales Manager - Key Accounts

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Strategic Account Management & Business Growth:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with major retail chains, hypermarkets, supermarkets and regional Key account clients across KSA.
  • Identify growth opportunities within the product categories and implement strategies to increase market share and revenue.
  • Negotiate and execute annual agreements, pricing structures, and promotional deals with key accounts.
  • Ensure product placement, visibility, and availability in all key retail outlets.
  • Ensure targets by category is achieved for all the modern trade customers.
  • Manage and track trade marketing spend, ensuring ROI on promotional investments.
  • Work with Category Management teams both within our Marketing teams and also of the Key Account Markets to ensure optimum product assortment and shelf positioning.

Sales & Performance Monitoring:

  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets within the assigned product categories across all Modern Trade Outlets.
  • Monitor and analyze sell-through data, inventory levels, and sales trends to optimize product distribution.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts, presenting performance insights and proposing data-driven solutions.
  • Identify sales gaps and implement corrective actions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing or related field
  • 5-8 years of experience in within the FMCG industry in KSA.

    Proven Track record of managing modern trade, retail chains in KSA.

    Experience working in KSA, mainly in the Fresh Food Category is highly preferred
