Montessori Preschool Teacher

Duties:

- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children.
- Provide a safe and nurturing Montessori environment for children to learn and grow.
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through the Montessori Method.
- Teach basic academic skills such as letters, numbers, colors, shapes, and basic math concepts.
- Incorporate creative arts, music, and movement into daily activities.
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom.

Requirements:

- Montessori Certification or an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education
- At least 3 to 4 years in a previous Montessori classroom with preschool-aged children.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
