Montessori Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Montessori Teacher to inspire young learners in a vibrant early childhood education environment. As a Montessori Teacher, you will create a nurturing, engaging classroom that promotes independence, curiosity, and a love for learning. Your role will involve implementing Montessori curriculum principles, fostering social-emotional development, and supporting each child's unique growth journey. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Montessori-based lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and individual student needs.
  • Create a prepared environment that encourages exploration, independence, and hands-on learning experiences.
  • Observe and assess children's developmental progress, tailoring activities to support their growth in areas such as literacy, math, physical education, and social skills.
  • Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies.
  • Foster strong communication with parents and guardians through regular updates on student progress and classroom activities.
  • Support early intervention efforts for children requiring additional assistance or special education services.
  • Maintain accurate records of student development, attendance, and assessments in compliance with educational standards.

Experience

  • Prior classroom experience working with young children in an early childhood education setting is essential.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Montessori teaching methods and philosophy is highly preferred.
  • Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques.
  • Background in working with children who have special needs or require early intervention services is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff.
  • Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and tutoring practices related to early childhood education.
