Children:

2.5-Year-Old Boy
A playful and expressive toddler who loves pretend play, vehicles, and storybooks. He thrives with patient, engaged caregivers who understand early childhood development.

About the Role:

This Clear Lake family is seeking a Nanny Manager who understands early learning and enjoys guiding a toddler through daily routines, curiosity-driven play, and emotional development. With a split schedule that supports school drop-offs and pick-ups, your mornings and afternoons will center on connection, consistency, and simple routines that help their child feel secure and confident.

The family hopes to find someone who brings a teacher’s natural ability to observe, plan, and scaffold learning, while also helping maintain an organized and steady household. If you enjoy child development as much as creating smooth household systems, this position will feel both purposeful and balanced.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create developmentally rich activities
  • Support emotional regulation through connection
  • Establish routines that encourage early independence
  • Share observations about learning and emerging milestones
  • Manage school drop-offs and pick-ups
  • Organize play areas and the child’s bedroom
  • Child’s laundry
  • Run errands and restock household supplies
  • Prepare simple, nutritious meals and snacks
  • Walk and feed the family dog and schedule grooming

Ideal Candidate:

You are a toddler or preschool teacher who loves helping young children grow at their own pace. You enjoy engaging play, predictable routines, and nurturing the big feelings that come with toddlerhood. You are organized, communicative, and comfortable keeping a home running smoothly while supporting one child with your full attention.

Requirements:

  • At least four years of professional childcare experience with toddlers
  • Strong interest in early childhood development and play-based learning
  • Open to collaboration and feedback
  • Confident swimmer
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a big plus!

Job Type: Part-time

Benefits:

  • Paid time off
