Position: Morning Teacher (6 AM – 2 PM) Location: Carlton Child Care, Thornapple, WI

At Carlton Child Care, we believe in joyful beginnings, creative learning, and nurturing care for every child. We’re looking for a dedicated morning teacher to join our team and help start each day with warmth and energy.

Schedule

• Full shift: 6 AM – 2 PM, Monday–Friday
• Morning responsibilities include welcoming children, leading early activities, and supporting smooth transitions into the day.

‍ Responsibilities

• Provide nurturing care for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and school‑age children.
• Lead engaging morning routines (music, art, sensory play).
• Support breakfast/snack times and classroom organization.
• Communicate warmly with families during drop‑off.
• Ensure compliance with Wisconsin child care licensing standards.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children across age groups.
• Positive energy and reliability (early mornings are key!).
• An early childhood education background is preferred. But will train the right person
• Ability to create a safe, welcoming environment.
