Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Mortgage Processor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the loan origination process, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and compliant with industry regulations. This position requires a strong understanding of financial services, underwriting processes, and mortgage servicing. The Mortgage Processor will work closely with loan officers and clients to facilitate smooth transactions and uphold the highest standards of customer service.

Duties

Review and verify loan applications for accuracy and completeness.
Process mortgage loans from origination through closing, ensuring compliance with FNMA guidelines.
Conduct credit analysis to assess borrower qualifications.
Collaborate with loan officers to gather necessary documentation and resolve any issues.
Prepare and review contracts, ensuring adherence to Fair Housing regulations and TILA requirements.
Maintain accurate records of loan processing activities and client communications.
Utilize basic math skills for calculations related to loans, escrow, and other financial components.
Perform 10 key typing for data entry tasks efficiently.
Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on loan status and addressing inquiries.

Experience

Previous experience in mortgage processing (2 years)
Familiarity with underwriting processes and loan origination.
Experience working as a loan officer or in banking environments is a plus.
