A Pre-Primary Teacher's job is to nurture the educational, social, and emotional growth of children typically aged 3-5 by creating a safe, stimulating environment, planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, fostering social skills through interaction, and collaborating with parents and colleagues to ensure a supportive learning journey. Key duties include developing lesson plans, managing classroom activities, tracking student progress, and maintaining a clean and orderly learning space. Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum & Activities:Design and implement creative, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development through methods like storytelling, games, crafts, and educational play.
- Classroom Management:Create a safe, welcoming, and nurturing learning environment. Organize nap and snack times, and ensure the classroom is clean, tidy, and adheres to health and safety standards.
- Child Development:Observe, assess, and document each child's progress, providing feedback to parents. Support children in developing basic skills, self-esteem, and social competencies, including conflict resolution.
- Communication:Communicate effectively with parents to discuss their child's progress, understand their backgrounds, and collaborate on their learning journey.
- Collaboration:Work with other teachers and school staff to share ideas, enhance educational programs, and implement curriculum plans.
