Mother’s Helper (Childcare + Household Support)

Nanny / Family Support Professional

Pay: $23–$25/hour

About the Role

We are seeking warm, engaging, and dependable caregivers to support local families with childcare needs.

Our nannies provide attentive, nurturing care for children ranging from infants to school-aged children. Placements vary by family and may include after-school care, infant care, school pickups, activity support, and helping maintain children's routines.

We believe childcare is about more than supervision—it's about building trust, creating meaningful connections, and helping children thrive.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, age-appropriate childcare
• Engage children in play, crafts, outdoor activities, and learning opportunities
• Support daily routines including meals, naps, homework, and bedtime preparation
• Transport children to and from school, activities, and appointments when needed
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding schedules and child needs
• Maintain a safe and positive environment
• Assist with child-related household tasks such as:
• Children's laundry
• Cleaning up play areas
• Preparing children's meals and snacks
• Organizing toys and children's belongings

Qualifications

• Previous childcare, nanny, babysitting, teaching, daycare, camp, or related experience
• Genuine enjoyment working with children
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Strong communication skills
• Dependable and punctual
• Comfortable working independently in family homes

• Infant care
• Multiple-child households
