Required to have in home private nanny experience working for families you do not know before. Must provide 3 current nanny related job references with name, contact number, email, ages of children, how long you worked there.

Southern Nannies Plus is seeking an experienced, nurturing, and dependable temporary professional nanny to support a wonderful family with a 15-month-old daughter and a newborn son during the mother’s postpartum recovery.

This is a Postpartum Mother’s Helper position. Mom will be actively involved in the children’s care, with each of you typically caring for one child while working together throughout the day to meet the family’s needs.

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday
• 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
• Temporary position: August 17, 2026 – October 16, 2026

Responsibilities include:

• Providing loving, attentive care for a 15-month-old and newborn.
• Planning and engaging the toddler in age-appropriate activities.
• Assisting with feedings, diaper changes, naps, and daily routines.
• Supporting mom as needed during her postpartum recovery.
• Children’s laundry.
• Loading and unloading the dishwasher.
• Keeping children’s areas, kitchen, and common living spaces neat and organized.
• Helping create a calm, peaceful, and supportive home environment.
• Preparing easy meals for Mom and giving her a break as needed.

Qualifications:

• Professional nanny experience with both newborns and toddlers is required.
• Understanding of the physical and emotional needs of a postpartum mother.
• Warm, patient, and encouraging personality.
• Reliable transportation.
• Excellent references.
• CPR/First Aid certification required. You can take the classes if you don't have it.
• Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and random drug screening.
