Motion Graphic Designer

Role Overview

We're seeking a Motion Designer with 2+ years of experience who is strong in traditional motion design fundamentals and equally confident using AI-generated motion, animations, and visual assets created through the latest generative AI tools.

This role focuses on motion-heavy, editorial video projects where animation, timing, and visual storytelling are critical. You'll work on original motion systems, combining hand-crafted animation with AI-generated elements where appropriate.

Scope of the Role

• Motion design is the primary responsibility
• Video editing is a core supporting skill
• Strong understanding of animation principles is mandatory
• AI is used to generate motion, visuals, and assets, then refined manually

Key Responsibilities

• Design and animate advanced motion graphics for explainer and editorial videos
• Create multi-layered After Effects compositions with strong hierarchy and flow
• Generate motion elements, visual assets, and base animations using latest generative AI tools
• Refine and enhance AI-generated animations using traditional animation techniques
• Integrate motion graphics seamlessly with edited footage
• Build original transitions, reveals, and motion systems
• Collaborate with designers, editors, and creative leads on complex briefs
• Maintain high standards of timing, pacing, clarity, and polish

*Kindly note: Having a personal laptop is essential for this role. Alternatively, candidates may choose to rent one.

Required Skills & Qualifications

✓ 2+ years of professional experience in motion design ✓ Strong command of Adobe After Effects ✓ Working knowledge of video editing (Premiere Pro or equivalent) ✓ Strong fundamentals in:

• Timing & easing
• Composition & visual hierarchy
• Typography in motion ✓ Strong visual taste and judgment ✓ Portfolio demonstrating:
• Original motion work (not templates)
• Design-driven and editorial-style motion
• Clear refinement of AI-generated elements

Traditional + AI Workflow Expectations

• Ability to animate manually from scratch using keyframes and curves
• Ability to generate motion, animations, and visual elements using AI tools
• Ability to control, refine, and polish AI outputs into production-quality motion
• Understanding of when to use AI — and when not to

Preferred Skills

• Basic 3D knowledge (Cinema 4D, Blender, or similar)
• Experience working on story-driven video content

Education

Graduate / Postgraduate / Any discipline (Relevant experience and portfolio quality will be prioritized over formal education)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
