Motion Graphic Designer

Job Description:

The Motion Graphic Designer is responsible for creating visually engaging animations, videos, and multimedia content that communicate the brand message effectively. This role combines creativity, design skills, and technical expertise to produce high-quality motion graphics for digital platforms, marketing campaigns, and presentations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create compelling motion graphics, animations, and visual effects for videos, social media, websites, and marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the marketing, design, and content teams to develop creative concepts and storyboards.
  • Edit and enhance video content using software like After Effects, Premiere Pro, and other motion graphics tools.
  • Ensure visual consistency with brand guidelines and project requirements.
  • Develop graphics for presentations, advertisements, and digital campaigns.
  • Design and animate infographics, logos, and typography to enhance visual storytelling.
  • Produce high-quality promotional videos, explainer videos, and product demos.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in animation, video design, and motion graphics techniques.
  • Provide creative input for social media campaigns, advertisements, and other marketing initiatives.
  • Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Collaborate with external vendors or freelance animators when needed.
  • Optimize animations and videos for various platforms, including web, mobile, and social media.
  • Provide support in editing live-action footage and integrating motion graphics.
  • Brainstorm and experiment with new creative ideas to improve audience engagement.
  • Maintain an organized library of assets, templates, and project files for efficient workflow.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Animation, Multimedia, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Motion Graphic Designer or similar role.
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Experience using AI tools for design, animation, or content creation (e.g., generative AI for video, graphics, or effects).
  • Strong understanding of animation principles, typography, colour theory, and visual storytelling.
  • Creative mindset with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong time-management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of 3D animation software (Cinema 4D, Blender) is a plus.
