Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload furniture, boxes, and other household or commercial items using proper lifting techniques and equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, or forklifts when necessary
• Transport items to designated locations using box trucks or other commercial vehicles with manual transmission or automatic options
• Assist customers with moving their belongings efficiently while providing excellent customer service and clear communication throughout the process
• Ensure all items are secured properly during transit to prevent damage or shifting
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of moving equipment and trucks before and after each job
• Follow safety protocols at all times, including proper lifting procedures and use of safety gear
• Load and unload trucks on route schedules while adhering to delivery timelines and route driving standards

Skills

• 2+ years experience in moving services
• Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with clients during moves
• Physical stamina for manual lifting, carrying heavy items, and performing repetitive tasks throughout the day
• Knowledge of route driving best practices to ensure timely deliveries and pickups
