Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Moving Broker Sales Representative to join our expanding logistics team. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to attract new clients and expand existing accounts within the moving and transportation sector.
- Engage with customers to understand their logistics needs, providing tailored solutions that optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Manage end-to-end account management processes, including lead generation, quoting, contract negotiation, and closing sales.
- Coordinate with carriers, freight providers, and third-party logistics (3PL) partners to ensure timely pickup and delivery of shipments.
- Utilize transportation management systems (TMS), CRM software, EDI protocols, and AS400 platforms to track shipments, update records, and streamline operations.
- Negotiate rates, contracts, and service terms while maintaining compliance with FDA regulations and other industry standards.
- Conduct data entry, dispatching, and freight planning activities to support efficient transportation sales operations.
- Foster strong customer relationships through proactive communication, problem-solving, and delivering exceptional service experiences.
Experience
- Proven success in B2B sales within logistics, freight forwarding, or transportation management environments.
- Extensive knowledge of supply chain management principles and transportation planning strategies.
- Hands-on experience with transportation management systems (TMS), CRM software, EDI protocols, and AS400 systems.
- Familiarity with 3PL services, NVOCC operations (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier), carrier sales, and logistics sales techniques.
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with the ability to manage contracts effectively.
- Experience in inside sales roles involving freight quoting, lead generation, dispatching coordination, and data entry tasks.
- Understanding of FDA regulations related to shipping practices is a plus but not mandatory. Pay: $75,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
