Mower/Landscaper

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mower/Landscaper to join our dynamic outdoor maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining beautiful, healthy lawns and landscapes through expert mowing, trimming, planting, and landscape upkeep. Your enthusiasm for outdoor work and strong mechanical skills will help create stunning outdoor spaces that enhance the environment and delight clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of landscaping tools and equipment while contributing to the aesthetic appeal of residential or commercial properties.

Duties

• Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other power tools to maintain lawns and landscaped areas
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including planting, mulching, edging, pruning, and shrubbery care
• Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and hoes for precise gardening and landscaping work
• Maintain equipment including sharpening blades, cleaning machinery, and conducting routine repairs
• Assist with hardscape projects such as installing walkways, patios, or retaining walls using appropriate tools and techniques
• Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and removal in accordance with safety standards
• Support irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure healthy plant growth

Experience

• Prior experience in lawn care or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
• Mechanical knowledge of power tools and landscaping equipment is highly desirable
• Familiarity with horticulture principles and gardening techniques is a plus
• Knowledge of snow plowing techniques can be an asset for seasonal work opportunities
• Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions with stamina and attention to safety standards
