Responsibilities

• Use hand tools and power tools for edging, trimming, and detailed landscape work.
• Operate mowing equipment such as push mowers, riding mowers, and string trimmers to maintain lawns and grassy areas.
• Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, and shrubbery care.
• Support snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance to ensure optimal performance of tools like excavators, hedge trimmers, and other landscaping machinery.
• Contribute to hardscape projects by preparing sites and assisting with installation of features such as patios or walkways.
• Follow safety protocols when handling equipment like chainsaws, irrigation systems, or tree care tools to prevent accidents.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping.
• Experience or interest in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is highly desirable.
• Ability to operate lawn mowers, trimmers, and other landscaping equipment safely and effectively.
• Knowledge of horticulture principles, tree care practices, or irrigation systems is a plus.
• Willingness to learn about construction techniques related to hardscape installation or tree trimming.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to follow instructions accurately in outdoor environments.
