MPD RCD Supervisor

Job Brief

Are you an experienced MPD professional with strong expertise in Rotating Control Devices (RCDs)? Do you have the capability to supervise installation, testing, and operation of RCD systems on drilling rigs?

We are hiring MPD RCD Supervisors to oversee all RCD-related activities and ensure safe, efficient, and compliant MPD operations on the rig.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise installation, commissioning, testing, and operation of RCD systems.
• Ensure RCD equipment is installed and operated as per manufacturer and MPD procedures.
• Coordinate with rig crews, MPD Supervisors, and service providers.
• Monitor RCD performance and identify potential issues proactively.
• Lead troubleshooting, maintenance, and replacement activities for RCD equipment.
• Ensure compliance with MPD programs, HSE standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct toolbox talks and ensure safe work practices during RCD operations.
• Prepare daily RCD activity and maintenance reports.

Required Qualification / Experience / Skills

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Petroleum, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5–7 years of MPD experience with strong focus on RCD operations.
• Proven experience supervising RCD installation and rig operations.
• Strong understanding of well control and pressure management.
• Leadership and coordination skills on offshore/onshore rigs.
• Willingness to work rotational schedules.
