We are seeking a dynamic and experienced MRF (Materials Recovery Facility) Plant Manager to lead and oversee all operations within our recycling plant. This pivotal role involves managing daily production activities, ensuring safety compliance, optimizing manufacturing processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Duties
- Lead the overall management of the MRF plant, including production planning, process optimization, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and throughput
- Oversee safety protocols and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations to maintain a secure working environment
- Utilize SAP, ERP systems, MRP (Material Requirements Planning), and supply chain analytics to monitor inventory levels, production schedules, and supply chain performance
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement strategies to reduce waste, improve quality, and enhance operational workflows
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless supply chain management and timely delivery of materials
- Conduct regular performance reviews, analyze production data, and develop action plans for process improvements and quality control
- Manage team staffing, training programs, and employee development initiatives to foster a motivated and skilled workforce
Skills
- Extensive experience in production management within manufacturing or recycling environments
- Strong knowledge of SAP, ERP systems, MRP processes, and supply chain management tools
- Proven ability to lead continuous improvement projects using lean manufacturing methodologies
- Mechanical knowledge related to plant equipment maintenance and process automation

- Financial & Inventory Control: Manage budgets, reduce operating costs, and oversee inventory of processed materials.
- Process Optimization: Analyze data to improve throughput, recovery rates, and reduce contamination levels.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
