Your Day to Day

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical & plumbing
• Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve issues quickly.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests
• Troubleshoot and repair faults in AC units, lighting, power outlets, water heaters, pumps, kitchen equipment, and other systems.
• Assist with checks and maintenance of life-safety systems such as fire alarms, emergency lights, and firefighting equipment.
• Carry out minor civil works, including painting, carpentry, tiling, and general repairs
• Support sustainability and energy-saving initiatives in line with IHG standards.
• Record all completed tasks and materials used
• Assist during emergencies such as power failures, system leaks, and safety incidents.
  
  

What We Need From You

• Diploma or technical certification in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in hotel engineering or facilities maintenance preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and basic carpentry works.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and safety guidelines.
• Good troubleshooting skills with a proactive and solution-focused approach.
• Strong sense of responsibility, teamwork, and attention to detail.
• Ability to interact professionally with guests and colleagues when needed.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and respond to call-outs.
• Physical ability to lift equipment, work at heights, and work in varying conditions.
