Your Day to Day

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical & plumbing

Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve issues quickly.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests

Troubleshoot and repair faults in AC units, lighting, power outlets, water heaters, pumps, kitchen equipment, and other systems.

Assist with checks and maintenance of life-safety systems such as fire alarms, emergency lights, and firefighting equipment.

Carry out minor civil works, including painting, carpentry, tiling, and general repairs

Support sustainability and energy-saving initiatives in line with IHG standards.

Record all completed tasks and materials used

Assist during emergencies such as power failures, system leaks, and safety incidents.
What We Need From You
-
Diploma or technical certification in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), or a related field.

2–4 years of experience in hotel engineering or facilities maintenance preferred.

Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and basic carpentry works.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and safety guidelines.

Good troubleshooting skills with a proactive and solution-focused approach.

Strong sense of responsibility, teamwork, and attention to detail.

Ability to interact professionally with guests and colleagues when needed.

Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and respond to call-outs.

Physical ability to lift equipment, work at heights, and work in varying conditions.
