ROLE: Multi-Skilled Building Services Engineer
HOURS: 08:00 – 17:00 (flexibility required)

We're looking for a Multi-Skilled Building Services Engineer who will join our established site-based team at our client's European Headquarters, delivering a comprehensive range of facilities support services.

Role Responsibilities:

• Weekly and monthly planned maintenance tasks as scheduled (fire alarm tests, flushing of infrequently used outlets, water temperature recording, emergency lighting tests, HVAC, etc.) and utilities meter readings.
• First-line response to reactive repairs, including replacement of defective luminaires, minor plumbing repairs, building fabric repairs, and decorating tasks.
• Completion of ad hoc duties such as porterage (moves and changes, furniture relocation) and maintaining accurate documentation of all assigned work orders.
• Full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, including completion of risk assessments, method statements, and permit adherence.
• Deliver excellent customer service to building occupants, proactively conducting floor walks and reporting maintenance or health and safety issues.

Required Qualifications: Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.

• Minimum five years' experience within a corporate facilities management environment, with experience in building services and HVAC maintenance tasks.
• Comprehensive understanding of health and safety requirements, statutory compliance, and ability to follow and produce risk assessments and method statements.
• Strong communication skills, ability to work within a team, and experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to complete tasks correctly within predetermined timescales with a flexible approach to working hours.
• Ability to accurately record work on worksheets and computer-based systems, with a commitment to professional presentation and safe working practices.
