JOB PURPOSE:

The Multi-Unit Manager is responsible for overseeing both operational and franchising aspects of the brand, ensuring all units meet standards in service, product quality, and atmosphere.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manage operational expenses effectively while conducting regular inventory spot checks to minimize losses and deviations.

- Greet customers, offer assistance, and ensure their needs and complaints are addressed promptly and with high-quality customer service standards, fostering customer loyalty.

- Ensure clear communication of systems, procedures, and programs to relevant stakeholders, while overseeing equipment and facility maintenance.

- Monitor financial performance closely and maintain proper cash handling procedures in accordance with company policies.

- Support in budget preparation, review processes, and finalize operational requirements as needed. Manage the annual allocated budget by monitoring expenditures within set limits, optimizing and reducing costs where possible, and reporting variances versus the budget.

- Develop and implement an operations guide aimed at streamlining procedures and enhancing operational efficiency across all departments.

- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to enhance brand performance and customer experience. - Handle the processing of requirements from ministries and authorities to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations, ensuring business continuity. Oversee the shop’s image, ensuring compliance with brand standards by verifying and maintaining the cleanliness, display, and upkeep of the shop, including windows, cash areas, and stock rooms.

- Detect, anticipate, and regularly provide feedback on customers' needs, market trends, and competitors' activities in the region or market.

- Ensure a smooth and efficient receiving process for items/shipments and monitor all inventory activities such as cycle counts and stock movements, including transfers between shops, transfers to/from warehouses, damaged items, and returns.

- Analyze hourly, daily, and weekly sales performance, monitor selling items, identify missing sizes/items, and manage collection rotation in coordination with relevant stakeholders. Identify replenishment needs, place accurate orders, achieve stock performance objectives, and maximize sales and sellout.

- Prepare the staff schedule based on budgeted hours, visitor traffic, daily sales targets, events, and operational needs such as shipments and stock counts. Ensure effective communication of sales plans and set daily and hourly targets for the shop/department team.

- Recruit, train, motivate, and evaluate the team to ensure that the department has the necessary skill base, and that staff are optimally motivated and enabled to maximize their potential and contribution to the company. Conduct Japanese meetings regularly to keep the staff informed and engaged.


EXPERIENCE:

- Six to eight years of experience within F&A Operations, or a similar role.

- Three years of experience in a managerial role.
