Multidisciplinary Language Analyst – Mandarin

Clearance: Active DoD TS/SCI with CI or FS Polygraph (required)

Work Schedule: Full-time, onsite

Role Overview:

In this role, you will exploit foreign language communications and materials to produce actionable intelligence in support of mission requirements. You will perform translation, transcription, and analysis of Mandarin-language data, integrate findings with SIGINT reporting, and provide real-time operational support. This position requires strong analytical capability, cultural expertise, and the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, mission-focused environment.

Specific Skillset

• Transcribe, translate, and summarize Mandarin-language materials with high accuracy
• Conduct in-depth SIGINT analysis across multiple collection sources
• Provide time-sensitive intelligence support to ongoing operations
• Prepare intelligence reports, assessments, and briefings for operational leadership
• Analyze data from diverse intelligence systems and databases
• Apply cultural and contextual expertise to enhance analytic assessments
• Maintain language proficiency and awareness of regional developments

Requirements:

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferred
• Language proficiency validation through DLPT or equivalent testing required
• Relevant intelligence or analytic tradecraft training preferred

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of operational experience as a Language Analyst
• Demonstrated expertise in Mandarin Chinese (reading, listening, and speaking)
• Proven experience supporting SIGINT collection and analysis missions
• Active TS/SCI clearance with current polygraph (required)
• Prior experience supporting Naval or DoD intelligence missions preferred
• Experience with SIGINT tools, databases, and/or cryptanalysis preferred
