Overview
We are seeking an experienced and adaptable MYPMathematics and Science Teacher to teach across the IB Middle Years Programme in a multigrade classroom context. This role requires confidence teaching mathematics and across the science disciplines, with a strong ability to differentiate learning to meet the needs of a diverse and evolving student population.
The Role
- Teach IB MYP Mathematics and Science in multigrade classes, ensuring appropriate challenge and progression for all learners.
- Plan coherent, engaging units that integrate the IB framework with Common Core Standards (Mathematics) and Next Generation Science Standards (Science).
- Design learning that meets students where they are, prioritising growth, engagement and conceptual understanding over coverage alone.
- Make learning authentic and context driven, taking full advantage of the local environment and the destination's focus on sustainability, marine science and conservation.
- Deliver practical, inquiry-based science learning, including the preparation and safe management of laboratory activities.
- Use technology and digital platforms effectively to enhance learning, including emerging tools such as AI.
- Act as a tutor, supporting student wellbeing and serving as a key link between school and families.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues, including vertical alignment with Primary teachers, to ensure strong progression and coherence across Mathematics and Science.
- Contribute flexibly to the wider life of the school, as required in a startup environment.
The Ideal Candidate
- Has experience teaching the IBMYP (essential).
- Is confident teaching Mathematics and across the Science disciplines.
- Is a skilled planner with experience managing complex learning environments.
- Demonstrates strong differentiation practice for multigrade and diverse classes.
- Is adaptable, resilient and comfortable working in a developing school context.
- Enjoys collaboration and takes initiative beyond their subject area.

Starting salary: 140.000 SAR / Year. Final salary is based on relevant qualifications and experience. Accommodation is also provided as an additional benefit and included for staff at no additional cost.
