Responsibilities

• Perform professional nail care services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and care.
• Apply advanced techniques such as color theory for custom nail designs and intricate nail art to meet client preferences.
• Maintain strict sanitation protocols to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff.
• Provide personalized consultations to recommend suitable treatments like nail enhancements or body waxing based on client needs.
• Upsell retail products such as nail care kits, polishes, or skincare items to enhance client satisfaction and business growth.
• Assist clients with additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, esthetic laser treatments, or hair styling when qualified.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in nail design, color application, and industry best practices through ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology or esthetician license with certification in nail technology.
• Strong knowledge of nail care techniques, including gel application, acrylics, and intricate nail art design.
• Familiarity with color theory principles to create visually appealing nail designs.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Experience with retail sales, upselling techniques, and retail math to promote products effectively.
• Additional skills such as hair extensions, hair threading, body waxing, dermabrasion, or barbering are a plus but not required.
