Duties

• Perform a variety of nail treatments such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art using current techniques and trends
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene in accordance with health regulations to ensure client safety
• Provide personalized consultations to recommend suitable nail services and color options based on client preferences and skin tones
• Stay updated on the latest nail trends, color theory, and product innovations to offer fresh ideas and techniques
• Upsell retail products like nail care essentials, polishes, and tools to enhance client satisfaction and increase sales
• Assist with maintaining a clean, organized workspace and sterilizing tools after each use
• Engage clients with excellent communication skills to build rapport, address questions, and ensure a positive experience

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology or esthetician license with certification in nail care required
• Proven experience performing professional nail treatments with a strong portfolio of nail art skills
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and proper sterilization procedures for tools and equipment
• Familiarity with advanced services such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, hair extensions, dermabrasion, hair threading, laser treatments, and barbering is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Ability to upsell retail products effectively while maintaining genuine client relationships
• Basic retail math skills for handling transactions accurately
• Passion for continuous learning about new techniques in nail care and beauty industry trends
