Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and care
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and sterilization to ensure client safety and hygiene compliance
• Consult with clients to understand their preferences, recommend suitable nail treatments, and educate on nail care routines
• Stay current on the latest trends in nail design, color theory, and techniques to offer innovative services
• Upsell additional services such as hand or foot massages, body waxing, eyelash extensions, or esthetic laser treatments to enhance client experience
• Manage retail sales of nail products, tools, and skincare items while demonstrating excellent communication skills
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and fully stocked to ensure smooth daily operations

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology or esthetician license with certification in nail care required
• Strong knowledge of sanitation practices and safety protocols in a salon environment
• Experience with various nail techniques including gel application, acrylics, and nail art preferred
• Knowledge of color theory to assist clients in selecting complementary shades and designs
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse clients
• Ability to perform detailed work efficiently while maintaining a lively and positive attitude
• Familiarity with retail math for upselling products effectively
